Since 1998, Powell Hall has been home to the St. Louis Speakers Series. While Powell Hall is closed for renovation, the 2023-2024 St. Louis Speakers Series will be presented at The Factory, a new performance venue located at 17105 N Outer 40 Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005.
The Factory offers seating for 2,000, the same number of seats planned for the renovated Powell Hall. Be sure to renew or subscribe early, as space will be limited.
The St. Louis Speakers Series is presented on Tuesday evenings, with one exception – our first lecture with Jane Fonda will be held on Thursday, October 5, then all remaining lectures are scheduled on Tuesday nights.
Speakers are subject to substitution, in-person or virtual rescheduling.
Yes, in cases where the season is not sold out, we offer prorated subscriptions for all remaining lectures throughout the season. Please contact the Powell Hall Box Office at (314) 534-1700.
The Speakers Series is a series of seven individual lectures, generally scheduled from October through April.
$395 – Open Seating Subscriptions (blue)
$465 – Gold Seating Subscriptions (gold)
$535 – Platinum Seating Subscriptions (red)
Prices do not include $59.50 per seat Ticketmaster order handling fee.
While Powell Hall undergoes renovation, we have temporarily relocated to The Factory in Chesterfield. The Factory has a contract with Ticketmaster, so all subscriptions this year will be subject to the standard Ticketmaster handling fees of $59.50 per seat. Parking is free at the Factory.
Tickets are sold by SUBSCRIPTION to the entire series only! It is not possible to purchase tickets to individual lectures. Both Open and Reserved seating are available. Reserved seating is assigned seating in the Gold and Platinum sections. Open seating allows you to choose any seat – on a first come basis – that is not in the reserved section.
Yes, as long as we have your email address, we will send you a survey after each lecture.
If you can’t find your tickets or never received them, please call the Powell Hall Box Office at (314) 534-1700 and they will be able to provide you with replacement tickets.
If any of your contact information has changed, please send us an email to [email protected] with your new information and we will be sure that your patron record is updated at the Box Office.
Unfortunately, the contracts with the speakers do not allow for the recording and dissemination of a speaker’s comments.
